Religious Science Center for Positive Living
& Book Store

Awakening Humanity to its Spiritual Magnificence

The Religious Science Center for Positive Living is proud to be a part of the Amado Territory Ranch family. It is the mission of Religious Science Center to Awaken, Embrace and Empower Spirit in Each Person.  Religious Science was founded in 1926 by Dr. Ernest Holmes who defined it as "a correlation of the laws of science, the opinions of philosophy and the revelations of religion as applied to the needs and desires of all people."  From this broad base, we are receptive to and welcome all ideas and beliefs that further the well-being of humankind.

Services are held on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in the Madaras Cultural Gallery, Suite 2 of the Amado Ranch Mercado.

In addition to Sunday services, the church also holds classes, workshops and concerts throughout the year and runs the Center for Positive Living Bookstore.

The book store provides a wide variety of spiritually-oriented books, from both classic and current authors.  The bookstore is located in Suite 1 of the Amado Ranch Mercado, as are the church offices, meditation room, and classroom.  Hours for bookstore/meditation room/offices are 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.  The bookstore is also open before and after services on Sunday.

If you are planning your wedding, we have three ordained ministers that can assist in designing and performing the perfect wedding ceremony.
