Mary is enraptured with the southwest landscape. With every new painting she makes she partakes in a joyous symbiotic love affair with nature. Her interest is in creating boldly colorful paintings that vibrate with energy and feel alive creating a sense of movement within the viewer's experience.
She began painting in 1992 as a vehicle for self-discovery and personal growth. After ten years of painting from her inner reserves (her "wild woman" period), she pursued an Associates degree in fine arts.
Also
in 1992, she developed Wisdom Painting Workshops for
Self-discovery. Named thus because she believes that the
wisdom inside each of us, our inner wisdom, knows all.
And that the inner wisdom's way of painting is open,
free, and without judgment. During the painting process,
the invisible becomes visible and new discoveries about
self appear effortlessly before us in full color. Her
part in the process is providing the safe and sacred
space in which one can be allowed to create. By gently
guiding the participants in the process, profound
insights are gleaned.

Wisdom Painting Workshops for Self-Discovery –
Silver City, NM: Discover the inner
wisdom's way of painting: open, free, and without
judgment. Witness the invisible becoming visible as
the brush glides easily across the paper in full
color. What image will come forth? What will you
experience while painting from the inside out?
Beginner's welcome. Will benefit the artist who
feels stuck or wants to loosen up. Repeat Wisdom
painters are welcome. Each painting experience is
different. Each painting is a new journey into the
self. Private sessions are available. Businesses:
