24th
Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Irish Stew - A Celebration of ALL Visalia Cultures
Saturday, March 15,
2008, 10:00 a.m., Visalia, California
On
St. Patrick’s Day EVERYONE is Irish!
Come dressed in your blarney best to downtown Visalia and enjoy the 24th
annual St. Patrick’s Day parade. This year we celebrate with the theme
"Irish Stew, A Celebration of all Visalia Cultures."
St. Patrick's Day Parade initially began in the 1700s as a way for the Irish soldiers to reconnect with their roots and their fellow Irishmen. Arts Visalia has taken this initial concept of reconnection a step further- to celebrate not only Irish culture, but all the cultures within the Visalia and Tulare area.
Events

family. So come out dressed in your Irish best to celebrate with the
Visalia community.
