St. Patrick's Day Parada, Visalia, California24th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Irish Stew - A Celebration of ALL Visalia Cultures
Saturday, March 15, 2008, 10:00 a.m., Visalia, California

On St. Patrick’s Day EVERYONE is Irish!
Come dressed in your blarney best to downtown Visalia and enjoy the 24th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.  This year we celebrate with the theme "Irish Stew, A Celebration of all Visalia Cultures."

St. Patrick's Day Parade initially began in the 1700s as a way for the Irish soldiers to reconnect with their roots and their fellow Irishmen.  Arts Visalia has taken this initial concept of reconnection a step further- to celebrate not only Irish culture, but all the cultures within the Visalia and Tulare area.

St. Patrick's Day Parade, Visalia, CAEvents Visalia is producing the 24th Annual St. Patrick's Day parade to help benefit the non-profit Arts Visalia. The Events Visalia Foundation is composed of community minded volunteers who put together events to help strengthen Visalia as a community. For more about Events Visalia, visit www.eventsvisalia.org .

Arts Visalia is a public non-profit gallery that provides exhibit space for local, regional and nationally recognized artists in addition to developing art classes and workshops for all ages.  It is located at 214 East Oak Avenue Visalia, CA. Tel: (559) 739-0905.

St. Patrick's Day Parada, Visalia, CaliforniaThis multicultural event will take place March 15, 2007 at 10 a.m. going down Main Street between Willis and Bridge Street.  There will be face painters, classic cars, bagpipers, a Bomber Jet, Irish dancers, floats, food and information booths, music and so much more fun for the whole family.  So come out dressed in your Irish best to celebrate with the Visalia community.
Make the luck of the Irish be yours today!
