It seems that as the popularity of RVing grows, so does the range of people who use them and their purpose for having them. Communing with nature is an obvious reason to RV--but there are other uses. Consider celebrating Football season by throwing your friends a Tail Gate Party with real style and class--having everything you need--right at hand. Stadiums fill up on weekends with game enthusiasts who add to the fun of the day by beating the traffic and bantering with other fans (tailgaters). It all adds to the festivity and excitement of the game to come. Most tail gate parties start two-three hours before the game, giving attendees a chance to mingle and partake of refreshments. Your RV will provide you with convenience, no standing in bathroom lines, and the weather won’t be a worry. If you have children, they will be safe and comfortable--make sure to bring them games to keep them happy-- while you socialize. With your own kitchen at your disposal, there is nothing you can’t serve up for family and friends. Suit your menu to the weather--hot dishes for cold days and cold dishes for hot days. You can make appetizers early, freeze them, and pop them in the microwave right before serving. This will give your guests something to munch on while you prepare fresh food, exactly to your liking. After the game, there is no reason to be part of the rush out with the rest of the crowd. Tail gate some more while you wait for the crowds clear. After the game fun is just as good as the pre-game fun. If you don’t have an RV but like the idea of upgrading your tailgate party--consider getting a group together and renting one. RV’s come in all sizes to suit all budgets. The Recreation Vehicle industry Association ( www.GoRving.com ) is a great source for more RV information. It’s a Tail Gate!! Come early, stay late, and party on.
