Designing Your Destiny is more than just a book about life management and balance--it is a book that really makes you think about where you are in life, where you are going, and how you intend to get there.

Author and C.E.O. of Upside Thinking, Inc., Lisa Marie Platske does an admirable job of guiding the reader through thought provoking questions while she imparts her core beliefs and principles of living. Her energetic and sincere commitment to helping people shines through an easy to read text, interesting anecdotes, and inspiring lessons. The book is also organized so that you can complete one chapter and it's assignments per month--leading you through a path of change within one year.

I personally have read quite a few books of this nature, and have completed a few courses in life management, business management, and overall life balance. I find Lisa's book to be refreshing, concise and a book you can use whenever you feel you are straying out of balance or off track.

Lisa's extensive experience in banking and Federal law enforcement has led her to entrepreneurship, coaching and authorship. She is a popular public speaker and refers to herself as the Chief Enthusiasm Officer of her own company, Upside Thinking, Inc. She has been awarded the Woman of Excellence award 2007 by the National Association of Female Executives and her work has been published in several magazines and newspapers.
