Dubbed the
‘Queen of the Sierra’, Murphys is a quaint gold rush destination located
in Calaveras County, nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada

Weather, Map & Directions

Located at approximately the 2,000-foot
elevation level, Murphys
year-round weather is pleasant and mild, with
temperatures ranging from the mid-30’s to 60’s during the winter months,
and 70’s to 90’s during the summer. Murphys is located off
of Highway 4, 9 miles east of Angels Camp and south of Bear Valley.
