Long Barn, CA
Long Barn
is located off Highway 180 in Tuolumne County, a historic region in
California’s High Sierra region, just north of the Gold Country, between
Mi Wuk Village and Pinecrest. With a choice of cabin and lodging options,
Long Barn is a great place to stay whilst visiting the Stanislaus National
forest or Yosemite National Park. It is within a short driving distance to
the historic gold rush communities of Sonora and Jamestown, Pinecrest
Lake, and Dodge Ridge Winter Sports Area.
Attractions & Activities
Emigrant Wilderness Area:
This 113,000 acre
wilderness area is bordered by Yosemite National Park on the south, the
Toiyabe National Forest on the east, and State Highway 108 on the north.
There are approximately 185 miles of trails in the Emigrant Wilderness,
and travel is restricted to foot or horseback. Info:

Yosemite National Park:

photography, stargazing, ranger and interpretive programs, horseback
