About Lake Havasu City, AZ
The jewel of Arizona's West Coast, Lake Havasu City
is home to the world-famous London Bridge - the world's largest antique.
Both a water lover's paradise and a desert lover's dream, visitors enjoy
over 300 days of sunshine per year. The area is ideal for golf, tennis and
desert tours.
Boasting over 450 miles of stunning coastline, visitors refresh with
exceptional water sports, including fishing, skiing, kayaking and
house-boating. Lacking crowds and swarming tourists, this small town
offers travelers a unique opportunity to explore the drama of a desert
habitat - offering everything from hiking and jeep tours to bird watching
and exploring hidden trails with Indian petroglyphs.
An essential part of playing in Lake Havasu City is planning at least a
few hours on its most apparent showpiece - Lake Havasu. Internationally
known as the "Personal Watercraft Capital of the World," Lake Havasu
offers virtually every form of water-related activity. Bring your
watercraft toys or rent a boat or jetski for the day. Take a cruise on an
authentic paddlewheel boat or a romantic gondola ride; and see, firsthand,
why Lake Havasu is known as one of the most beautiful places in the world.
After your lake experience shop for trinkets and treasures in the
authentic English Village, right under the world famous London Bridge.
Dozens of restaurants offering a wide variety of menus await your arrival.
Lodging opportunities welcome with top-rated facilities from RV Resorts to
Condominium Vacation Rentals; and Hotels to Waterfront Resorts offering
spectacular views.
