every Saturday at the California Wolf Center.
This program includes an

Country Carriages
- Explore Julian’s scenic countryside in an
authentic, old-fashioned horse-drawn carriage. You’ll find the
carriage at the corner of Washington and Main Streets, in front of
the Julian Drug Store.

Eagle And High Peak Mine
- Tour one of Julian's original gold
mines. Guides lead you through the intricate path of tunnels in
the hard rock mine and share tales of the life of early residents

Julian Doves & Desperados

See Julian's own reenactment group. See
them in town on Sundays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Historic Skits
(weather permitting) at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. & 3 p.m. at their stage

Julian Pioneer
Museum
- Housed in an old stone building that was once
the Mayerhofer Brewery & Treshil Blacksmith Shop, this museum is
nicknamed, “Julian’s Little Attic” and is a treasure chest of
artifacts from the town’s not-too-distant and colorful past.

Lake Cuyamaca

This family
fishing lake is also a great destination for picnicking, boating,
hiking, nature walks and wildlife watching. There are free
fishing classes every Saturday at 10am. Located at 15027 Highway

Miner’s Diner
- This original olde-fashioned soda fountain is a family

Volcan Mountain
Preserve
- This
preserve is home to wildlife, wildflowers, and several species of
oak and pine. There are guided walks on weekends. Trailhead: off
Farmer Road, north of Julian; take Farmer Road to Wynola Road,
turn right 100 yards, turn left on Farmer Road; enter trail

Wynola Pizza Express – This family-friendly
dining establishment features delicious pizzas and entrees all
cooked in an authentic wood-fire oven. Sit indoors or outdoors.
They also have live music on weekends. Located just 3 miles from
