Julian,
San Diego’s popular Historic and Mountain Destination is Open!
The unfortunate
brush fire dubbed the ‘Angel Fire’, which was started last weekend
in Julian, is 95% contained, and all roads leading to this popular
historic mountain community in San Diego, are open.
Fall is here, and Julian is a bustle with a host of activities
celebrating its famous Apple Season, including the Menghini Art &
Music Festival, the Julian Apple Festival, the Annual Olde Time
Melodrama, historic re-enactments and skits by the Julian Doves
and Desperados, and more. It’s the perfect time of year to visit –
take a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride, take a walking tour of
the downtown district, enjoy the many specialty shops, boutiques,
and restaurants, of course – leave room for some Julian Apple Pie.
From quaint bed & breakfast inns to cabin rentals, Julian has a
variety of lodging options to accommodate you.
