Known for orchards of crispy, flavorful apples, Julian also has
several restaurants and bakeries that serve up the best apple pie around. You
can outdoors, cafe style, or indoors. There is even a historic soda fountain,
plenty of places to buy apple cider, a saloon and a woodpit barbecue.
There are also several wineries spread throughout the Julian, Ramona, and
Warner Springs area. In October, some orchards still allow visitors to pick
their own apples.
