The Rooms:  A tastefully furnished double-story establishment, Eaglenest B&B resembles a home of the 1890s. Just a short walk from town, it overlooks Julian's Main Street and provides beautiful views from it's large decks and patios. Reflecting the region's four natural seasons, Eaglenest has four lovely Bedroom Suites.  A colorful country-style suite, The Summer Room has a fabulous king size bed and a love seat sofa. Upstairs, the Spring Room is a bright and cheerful choice that features vaulted ceilings, a white iron canopy bed, an antique tub with a brass shower fixture, a private deck furnished with a wrought iron table, market umbrella, an outdoor chiminea firepot, and of course - lovely views. With your patio offering awesome southern views and a private entrance, The Winter Room is romantic with a wood-burning fireplace, Victorian wallpaper, crystal lamps, and handcrafted pine furniture. For your convenience, all of the Eaglenest suites feature a fireplace, AC/Heat, a coffee maker, TV, VCR and CD Stereos.

Breakfast & Dessert: Awaken to the mouth-watering aromas of a full country breakfast being prepared by Jim, who is a Swiss-trained chef. Served at 9am in the formal dining room, or out on a deck to relish the morning sunshine and scenic views, breakfast is an incredible feast. A couple of examples of their breakfast menus are: Spiced Apples and Whipped Cream, Crisp Bacon, Cherries Jubilee Fruit Salad and Fresh Baked Cinnamon Rolls; or Sausage & Pepper Souffle' with Fresh Avocado & Salsa, Home Fried Potatoes, Fresh Fruit Platter and Homemade Apple Spice Muffins. Freshly baked desserts are also available for afternoon and evening delights.

For Your Pleasure:  A beautiful spring and summer retreat, their garden is lovely with shade trees, seasonal flowers, and a hammock ideally situated under an apple tree. The garden also boasts a great big sparkling swimming pool just waiting to be dived into. Surrounded by over 2000 feet of Redwood deck, the poolside is a great place to soak up the sun, as is the Jacuzzi and spa an awesome means to relax under the evening stars.

Extra Touches: Always coming up with ways to make your stay an extra special and memorable experience, Jim and Julie also offer 'Special Occasion Packages & Amenities'. From a bouquet of fresh flowers, a bottle of local wine, a full body massage, and a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride to a tour of a gold mine, dinner for two, passes to the Pioneer Museum and an hour guided horseback trail ride; these little extras are fun birthday or anniversary surprises, and can be a wonderful honeymoon present. Why Guests Keep Coming Back: I think that Jim and Julie are onto something really neat. They offer more than the pool with a Redwood Deck, Jacuzzi and spa; beautiful and comfortable bedrooms with patios and fireplaces; the delicious breakfasts and decadent desserts; great location and spectacular views; fabulous hospitality - you have to meet their  'Eaglenest B&B Ambassadors.' When you check in, you'll be introduced to Ricky and Lucy - Jim and Julie's two good-natured golden retrievers. Sometime during your stay you'll probably meet a couple of their cats too. It's said that playing with a pet plays a big role in reducing stress and with all the loving feedback the guests have given them, and all the extra love that Ricky, Lucy and the kitties have been getting - not to mention the rate of repeat bookings - I think there's some truth to that pudding.
