Julian Art & Entertainment
Every Sunday, the Doves and
Desperados, photo above, entertain visitors to Julian. They stroll down
Main Street in historic dress from the early 1800s, bringing Julian's gold
rush days back to life. They also perform comedy skits at the stage area
located between the Julian Market and Deli and Cabbages and Kings, on Main
and Washington Streets. You can also take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage
up and down Main Street and some of the beautiful country lanes.
There are several restaurants with live entertainment, plus week-end arts
and crafts shows in the Town Hall, and in October, there is a Melodrama
also at the Town Hall. There are several galleries in the area.
