The Village Grind Cafe &
Espresso Bar - photo above. They feature a mouth-watering menu of
wraps, starting with their ‘Veggie’, which is a spinach & herb tortilla
stuffed with crisp leaf lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, olives, mushrooms,
and bell peppers; and dressed with a little mayo, and oil & vinegar for
added flavor. Other menu features include their ‘Chicken, Ham or Turkey’ -
which is their ‘Veggie’ loaded with your choice of meat; and their ‘Club’
- the ‘Veggie’ wrapped up with bacon and grilled chicken. Their wraps can
be ordered with a honey-wheat, spinach & herb, or tomato & basil tortilla.
The Village Grind is in the heart of the village of Wrightwood in Southern

Apple Alley Bakery & Deli -
photo above. Known for their delicious apple pie, Apple Alley is also
getting quite a name for their hearty sandwich wraps. Made with fresh
salad ingredients and meats wrapped in a spinach tortilla, their wrap menu
includes a Chicken Caesar - with diced chicken breast, grated Parmesan
cheese and Caesar dressing; Chicken Pesto - with diced chicken breast and
Pesto sauce; Garden Veggie - with sliced avocado, alfalfa sprouts and
veggies; Oriental Chicken Breast - with diced chicken breast, shredded
cabbage & grated carrots, red bell pepper strips, and toasted sesame
seeds; and Roast Beef with Cream Cheese. Apple Alley is located downtown
