Coffee Eggnog Happy Eggnog Non-alcoholic Eggnog Rompope
Coffee Eggnog
This is a delicious
alternative to regular eggnog.
2 eggs, well beaten
2 tsp. instant coffee
4 tsp. sugar
2 cups chilled milk
2 shots Bourbon
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
Whip ingredients together in a blender until
mixture develops a light froth on top. Serves 2.
Happy Eggnog
A recipe that promises to liven up any Holiday party!
4 fresh eggs
8 jiggers brandy
4 jiggers Bailey’s
1 Tbsp. corn syrup
Milk
Blend all ingredients until light and frothy, serve chilled.
Fills four mugs.
Non-alcoholic Eggnog
4 cups of milk
4 eggs
4 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup of crushed ice
Nutmeg (preferably freshly grated)
Combine all ingredients except nutmeg, in a shaker.
Shake well. Serve with nutmeg sprinkled on top.
Rompope
This is a delicious
Mexican eggnog recipe, well worth making,
1 Qt. Milk
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cinnamon stick
1/4 Cup finely ground almonds
1 tsp. Vanilla
8 Egg yolks, well beaten
1 Cup Brandy
In a saucepan, heat to a gentle simmer, the milk, sugar, and cinnamon
stick.
Simmer and stir constantly for about 10 minutes. Then, remove from heat
and take out cinnamon stick.
Add in the vanilla and the almonds. Then, gradually mix in the beaten
eggs.
Cook the mixture over a low heat, and stir constantly until the mixture
coats a spoon.
Then cool to room temperature. Mix in brandy.
Pour drink into a screw top bottle and refrigerate until ready to serve.
