Western Wear, Western Wardrobe3 Components to a Western Wardrobe

Western wardrobes are no longer popular exclusively in certain states and countries around the world. The trend has become a worldwide phenomenon. From the United States to Europe, cowboy themes are popping up on the fashion scene and becoming the dominant force in the controversial world of fashion. Some people are more than thrilled with the latest interest in western wear but others are less than enthusiastic about the craze.

If you’re a fan of the western theme, there are a few things you should know before you jump on the bandwagon. After all, when attempted incorrectly, the cowboy theme could end up looking terrible. Incorporating these 3 components will ensure you’re riding in high style next time you walk out the door:

The Hat – Please do not even attempt to pull off the cowboy theme without wearing the trademark cowboy hat. Anyone who tries to sport the western theme without a hat will just look ridiculous. You’ll look like you knew what you wanted to do but couldn’t quite pull it off. So make sure you choose a stylish hat – it’s the most important factor in your western wardrobe. Fortunately, there are a lot of designers choosing to sell cowboy hats.

The Boots – Boots rank second in importance (next to the hat) when putting together your western wardrobe. The boots will complete the outfit whereas the hat alone may look incomplete. Jessica Simpson brought back the popularity of cowboy boots with her sexy video "These Boots are made for Walking." There are a number of designer clothing retailers who have chosen to incorporate cowboy boots into their collections.

The Chaps – For the extreme cowboy enthusiasts, chaps are an essential element of the wardrobe. Are the essential for everyone? No. Chaps look good on some people, not on others. Use your own discretion when choosing to incorporate these into your outfit. If you want to be taken seriously and want to look like you really belong in the western world, choosing to wear chaps will help you out. Plus, when worn correctly, they can be super sexy.

If you’re looking to sport the western theme, you need these items. How you choose to wear them is up to you.
