Use lemon to lighten your hair naturally.DYI NATURAL HAIR HELPERS THAT WON'T BUST YOUR BUDGET!
From treating dandruff to getting rid of gray hairs - here are some easy, budget friendly and natural hair treatments that you can do at home.

Dandruff Busters
If you find yourself in a bit of a 'dandruff dilemma', take about a 1/4 cup of vinegar or lemon juice and rub it into your hair. Wait about 5 minutes, then shampoo and rinse it out.

Shampoo Alternatives
You're late for an important meeting and you've run out of shampoo - try rubbing talcum powder or cornstarch into your hair and scalp. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, and the brush out. You can also blend about a cup of oatmeal into a powder and do the same thing.

Green-Away
If you went swimming in a pool that has too much chlorine, and your once golden hair goes a little green on you - try rinsing with club soda.

Highlights & Natural Dyes
A surefire and easy, natural way to get those beautiful blonde highlights - rinse your hair with a mixture of 1/3 cup lemon juice and 2/3 cup of water; then relax in the sun while your hair dries and lightens up. You may want to repeat the process to go even blonder. Restore your natural hair color or get rid of gray hairs with tea! Put about 2-3 teabags, and a sprig of rosemary or a few sage leaves in a cup of boiling water. Leave it overnight then strain and use as a rinse after you shampoo - be sure not to rinse out with water - just dry with an old towel. Repeat the process until you get your desired look.

Oil & Shines
If your hair feels a little dry or limp, has split or damaged ends here are some ways to help restore it's softness and shine. Gently massage about a cup of Mayonnaise, or warm sesame, coconut, or olive oil into your hair and scalp. Wait about half an hour or so - you may want to cover it with a shower cap - then shampoo and rinse.
