A Western Trilogy,
written by Bill Pierce, reviewed by Nancy J. Reid

If you are looking for a fun, amusing and action-packed read, this is a great book to get. Bill Pierce writes reminiscent to the Zane Grey style, adding  twists and turns that entice the reader to stay up all night and finish the book.

There are three tales in this book, Sweet Revenge where a recently made widows tracks down her husbands killer; Lincoln's Law, where a local lawman gets in the middle of a bank robbery; and Briggs Loses His Heart, a story about a man who tracks down a bounty hunter that killed his brother.

All three tales take you back to the "olde west" and are full of suspense and drama. I like Bill's easy style, ability to tell a yarn, and add romance in to boot. Both men and women will enjoy this book. I would love to see Bill take on a full novel as by the end of the book, you are left wanting more.

Bill Pierce worked as deputy sheriff and for Cedar Falls Utilities in Cedar Falls, Iowa until his retirement. Now he is able to pursue his love of writing and resides with his wife of 45 years.
